The Center for Teaching and Learning at the College of
Staten Island
The Center for Teaching and Learning
(CTL) at the college exists to provide opportunities for faculty across
departments and divisions to collaborate and improve pedagogy. The Center
provides formal and informal opportunities for faculty to meet and discuss
innovative teaching approaches, the role of outcomes assessment in
improving teaching, classroom problems and issues, and other related
topics. CTL events include workshops, discussion groups, virtual discussion
forums, and a yearly mini conference on the Scholarship of Teaching.
CTL's mission is to provide the means for faculty development so as to
enhance each student's learning experince at CSI.
